10 Amazing 'Princess Bride' Collectibles That Are Exactly As Perfect "As You Wish'

20th Century Fox

The Princess Bride is without a doubt one of greatest movies all time. I don't think anyone can try to dispute that, it's honestly just "inconceivable."

Whether it's the romantic love story that you enjoy, the hilarious jokes, or the well rounded characters fighting for what they believe, there really is a lot of amazing pieces to this perfect puzzle.

While we seem to be in a land of reboots, with every television show and movie making their comeback, so far Princess Bride has been able to escape that trend. Let's hope it stays that way.

But just because we don't want them to remake the classic, doesn't mean that we don't want to celebrate it in other ways.

Luckily, there seems to be a whole bunch of Princess Bride toys and games that will help us reminisce about the iconic movie without having to experience a remake that we all know would never be able to live up to the first.

If you know a big Princess Bride fan, you may want to share these items with them, or start your Christmas shopping a little bit early.

1. 'Princess Bride Opoly' Board Game

So, fair warning, this one isn't technically a licensed Monopoly game put out by Hasbro, instead a different company saw that they were slacking so they helped them out.

You get to play as all of your favorites, and travel across the kingdom while buying up places so you can build your own cottages. But it's not the only board game based on the movie. Get Princess Bride Opoly here.

2. 'The Princess Bride Prepare To Die! Again' Board Game

This party game is simple in theory, but it can end up really hilarious. All you have to do is play the cards you have to rework the iconic line "Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father, prepare to die," with alternate names and activities.

The example they give is, "Hello, my name is Mandy Patinkin. You drank my milkshake, prepare to die!" So obviously it's outrageous, but in the best possible way. Get it here.

3. 'Storming the Castle' Card Game

An adventure style card game based on the events of the movie, whether it's making your way through the fire swamp or into Humperdink's castle, this game has it all. Get it here.

4. 'A Battle of Wits' Strategy Game

If you watched Westley take on Vizzini in their battle of wits and thought that would have been easy to figure out, then this game is for you. I mean, there's no actual poison, so even if you couldn't follow the trick, it's not like there's any real danger.

But it'll help you hone in on your detective skills to try and figure out which of your friends is trying to sabotage you! Get it here.

5. Scwamble Game

A super-fun take on the iconic game of Scrabble, except it adds in a few more words that you're allowed to play. Feel free to use "mawage," "togeder," and "tru wuv," in every game. Get it here.

6. 'Miracle Pill' Game

You remember how hard it was for Miracle Max to make that pill? Well, now you and your friends can help him out. You have to work together to build a deck of cards that will assemble to pill so you can help bring the 'man in black' back to life. Get it here.

If board games and card games aren't really your favorite but you still want to show off your love for the movie, there are other options for you too.

7. Collectible Figures

Buttercup, Westley, and Inigo Montoya all got the Funko Pop Figure treatment and they are all super cute.

You can get Buttercup here, Westley here, and Inigo here!

8. 'Princess Bride' set of glasses

The set of four glasses are quite beautiful and feature Buttercup and Westley so happy and in love, it's hard to resist. Get them here.

If you thought those big ol' rodents were actually pretty cute, you can get yourself a plush version. I mean, the more I look at it, the more it grows on me. Maybe they are just misunderstood? Get your own here.

10. 'The Princess Bride: A Storybook to Color'

And finally, coloring books aren't just for kids anymore. This highly detailed coloring book lets you revisit all your favorite scenes while you get some stress out. The intricate designs help you refocus on something simple and it does wonders for your mental health. Highly recommend giving it a shot! Get one here.
