14 Posters Every '90s Girl Remembers Having In Her Bedroom

Decorating your space was one of the most important things you could do as a teenager. Picking out the right collection of decor to express your personality was very important. After all this was the only space away from your parents that you had full control over.

So what was on your walls? I bet at least some of these 14 posters made the cut.

1. Backstreet Boys

Nick Carter, AJ McLean, Howie D., Kevin Richardson and Brian Littrell made up one of the best boys in the 90s. Guaranteed if you were a girl in this decade, these boys were EVERYWHERE that you could possibly put their picture.

2. Spice Girls

If you watched Spice World until the VHS tape wore out, you know you were a big Spice Girls fan. It was only appropriate to have their poster in your room. Girl Power!

3. N'Sync

Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick launched N'Sync in 1995 and from then our teenage years were never the same. These boys were in every magazine, locker and girls bedroom over the next ten years.

4. Buffy The Vampire Slayer

Whether you wanted to kick ass like Buffy or have Angel as your boyfriend, you definitely had this show posted up on your bedroom walls. Whether it was just David Boreanaz or the whole "Scooby gang" this was key pop culture of the 90s.

5. Usher

We have a confession to make, Usher was definitely on our bedroom wall in the 90s. Well, maybe it isn't a secret, because well, look at him!

6. Dawson's Creek

Did you always envy Joey and Dawson's relationship? Maybe you were an aspiring film maker also? Or maybe you just had a crush on Pacey. Whatever your reasons were, a Dawson's Creek poster was part of the essential bedroom decor.

7. Freddie Prinze Jr.

The was our original Prince Charming, so of course he was on our wall!

8. Britney Spears

The "Baby One More Time" singer inspired so many young girls to dance and sing along to her songs, since we could relate to her music in the 90s! Of course she was on our wall of fame.

9. The Hanson Brothers

This trio was in every magazine, so of course those pictures got cut out and put up!

10. Sisquo

He may have sang about thongs, but every girl wanted this artist up in their bedroom!

11. Eminem

Marshall Mathers, aka Eminem, first became popular after Dr. Dre took him under his wing after he heard his demo tape. That's when every 90s girl started rapping The Real Slim Shaddy in 1999.

12. Titanic

In 1997 we were all swept away by Titanic. Whether it was Leonardo DiCaprio's good looks, or the fact that it came on two VHS tapes that made us re-watch it over and over again, this movie poster was definitely on your wall.

13. Inspirational Quotes

Needed some motivation to get through that paper due tomorrow? Inspirational quotes hanging on our walls were necessary!

14. Breakfast at Tiffany's

We all aspired to be classy like this. So clearly the poster needed to be up for inspiration.
