Wile E. Coyote Is Finally Getting His Own Movie So The Road Runner Better Watch Out

Warner Bros.

Everyone has watched Bugs Bunny and his buddies get up to all kinds of crazy hijinks, and we all had our favorite characters.

Some people really loved watching Sylvester fail to catch Tweety, while others preferred to watch Bugs completely humiliate Elmer Fudd.

For me, Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner were always one of my favorite parts of the entire show.

If you ever need a lesson on persistence, Wile was your guy. No matter how badly he failed, how many cliffs he fell off of, or mountains he ran into, that dedicated and hungry fellow never gave up.

Warner Bros.

Sure, he was technically trying to eat the Road Runner, but I mean, he's a coyote, it's what they do.

So the Road Runner would constantly leave traps for him, and it's all well and good because it's a cartoon and no matter how many explosives were used, no matter how far he fell, or how big of a boulder squished him, Wile E. would get right back up again and order something new from his Acme catalog.

Warner Bros.

Up until now, Wile E. Coyote has always been a background character, usually just in the movies for a brief moment. But now, he's finally getting his chance to shine!

Wile E. Coyote is getting his own animated movie, and it's called Coyote Vs. Acme.

Warner Bros.

Obviously, Wile E. has a long history with Acme, so maybe he finally will file a complaint with them over all the faulty products they've been selling him for all these years.

The movie will be produced by Chris McKay, who made his directorial debut with last year's hit movie Lego Batman, so he definitely knows what goes into a hit cartoon.

Warner Bros.

The movie is still in early production, but hopefully we will find out more about it soon!
