Diana Ross, Upside Down

Also number one on the Billboard Disco and Soul Charts, Upside Down stayed in the number one spot for a full four weeks!

Another One Bites The Dust, Queen

Everybody sang this song, everyone still sings this song. It's pretty much the ultimate stick-it-to-her (or him) rock anthem.

Fame, Irene Cara

Fame won the Golden Globe Award and the Academy Award for Best Original Song that year.

Lookin' For Love, Johnny Lee

Although more than 20 artists rejected the song, Johnny Lee took a chance with it. Good thing he did too, It was the featured song of Urban Cowboy, co-starring John Travolta. It was certified gold for sales of 1 million units by the Recording Industry Association of America.
