You'll Soon Be Able To Get 'The Baby-Sitter's Club' With Their Original Covers

There are a few books that just scream childhood. Sweet Valley High was always a staple, Goosebumps were basically required reading, and then of course The Baby-Sitter's Club was crucial.

There were always new adventures for The Baby-Sitter's Club to go on, but obviously we all had our favorites.

Rumors started swirling about a new Baby-Sitter's Club TV show a little while ago, and while we were excited about it, there's something just extra special about the original books. Luckily for us, Scholastic realized this and has decided to make something for those of us who are feeling a little nostalgic.

Author of the series, Ann M. Martin, revealed that Scholastic has created a new box set of Baby-Sitter's Club books, but the best part is that they will all have the original covers!

No fancy revamps, no modernized girls, all of the covers will have the same look as they used to when they were originally released.

"So excited to share this news with BSC fans! Coming this August 28th, BSC books #1-6 will be available - with the classic covers - in this retro tin! Pre-order now from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or your favorite indie bookstore. I can't wait!"

The set will include books one to six, which means you'll get a chance to revisit these classic books:

1. Kristy's Great Idea

Scholastic

2. Claudia and the Phantom Phone Calls

Scholastic

3. The Truth About Stacey

Scholastic

4. Mary Anne Saves the Day

Scholastic

5. Dawn and the Impossible Three

Scholastic

6. Kristy's Big Day

Scholastic

The best part about this is that the entire set of books is less than $40! You can preorder it now on Amazon and you'll receive it when it's released on August 28th. (Full disclosure, that is an affiliate link so we may make a small percentage if you do buy it.)

These timeless stories are still just as good today as they were when we were kids, and it'll be amazing to be able to pass them on to the next generation.

Not to mention the fact that for those of us who were impulsive (and stupid) and sold our copies at garage sales as kids will finally be able to get them back!

Who else is excited to order this set? I know I am!

As for the TV show, this is everything we know so far.

And if you want to collect your favorite Sweet Valley High books, there is a place you can buy all the original copies!

These 7 Quizzical Facts About "Wishbone" Proves No One Ever Listens To The Dog

I can pretty much guarantee that most people reading this article learnt more about literature from Wishbone than any college course. This wisecracking dog was incredible at teaching the finer points of many classic books and tied the major themes to a moral lesson that we could all use in our lives. 25 Years After Leaving Bayside High, Here's What The Cast of "Saved By The Bell" Are Up To Now

AOL TV named Saved By The Bell one of the "20 Best School Shows of all Time," and I'm sure everyone who's reading this article can agree with that sentiment. The American TV sitcom aired from 1989 to 1993, but has recently been classified as "educational and informational." That's cool and all, but it was also super-duper funny. It was one of the shows we looked forward to the most in the early '90s, and it helped launch the careers of some of these teen actors. Houston Chronicles Here's what the main cast of the show have been up to!

They Ruled Newport, But Where Are The Cast Of "The O.C." Now?

The O.C. was, and still is, the ultimate teen drama.
