15 Cuddly Toys From The '80s That We Couldn't Sleep Without
Growing up in the 80s meant that we didn't have a lot of electronics. Sure, there were some video games at arcades. For the most part we were at home with our imaginations and our stuffed animals.
Hundreds of tea parties and teddy bear picnics were held in our living rooms, all featuring a cast of cuddly toys that were so special to us. How many of these toys did you have when you were a kid?

Care Bear count down! 5...4...3...2...1! We all had our favorite bear, and making sure we had the toy to match was always the most important part of our Christmas wish lists. They would often get circled several times to make sure Santa knew that we REALLY wanted that Funshine bear.

I guess these were supposed to be little monkeys? These little guys were everywhere and while they didn't make a lot of sense, kids loved them.

Between Rainbow Brite and her huge colorful collection of friends and pets, we all had our hands full.

There was a lot of options when it came to Garfield. There were the ones that hung on all our car windows as well as simple ones that we would keep in our rooms. This lasagna-loving cat was an absolute icon.

The Muppets were huge in the 80s, and when The Muppet Babies show came out, it helped create a brand new market for kids. Baby versions of all your favorite characters were available and they were all so cute.
Pound Puppies
Because they made these little puppies look so sad, we had to take them in! They were the cutest and most cuddly toys ever and we all had to have them.
Puffalumps
Puffalumps were made out of the same material as our windbreakers and for some reason that meant we all had to have one. They were super squishy and cute, and came in a bunch of shapes and sizes.
Hugga Bunch
These dolls had a lot of eyelashes and it was kind of creepy. But they had very soft bodies with their very curly hair and kids absolutely lovely them.
Pillow People
No bed was complete without a Pillow Person on it! They were the best of the best and we all needed one to cuddle with.
