10 Grammy-Winning Artists We've Never Heard From Again
The Grammy Awards are essentially the Oscars of the music industry, and are meant to be awarded to music that rises above the rest to be the best of its year. However, some artists seem to hit it big critically and then basically disappear, leaving the rest of us going "What happened?!" In particular, these are 10 artists we're kinda surprised left as quickly as they did.
Outkast
The group was rolling in Grammys thanks to the breakaway success of "Hey Ya" (which you either seemed to love or hate), but went on hiatus soon afterwards and hasn't released any new material since.
Norah Jones
She won a whopping FIVE Grammys for her debut album back in 2002, and even though she continues to make music, she's never hit those highs ever again.
Coolio
We all love "Gangsta's Paradise," and apparently so did the Grammys. Unfortunately, he kinda trailed off after that.
Blackstreet
Seriously, where did these guys go after "No Diggity?" That song was the absolute best.

Lauryn Hill
The former member of The Fugees knocked her solo debut, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, out of the freaking park, but then put out a lackluster follow-up and then kinda disappeared from music entirely.
Dixie Chicks
The trio were a huge deal in country music for a long time, but found themselves facing harsh criticism after they decried then-President George W. Bush (how times have changed). They never really recovered, and have since gone on to multiple side projects.
Sir Mix A Lot
Everybody loves "Baby Got Back," but a lackluster follow-up album and generally being a one-hit wonder basically ensured his career vanished quickly.
Faith Hill
She still releases music with her husband Tim McGraw, but she hasn't released solo music in years, preferring instead to work on philanthropy.
System of a Down
The metal band took the music world by storm with several hit albums like Toxicity and Mesmerize, but went on a hiatus after the release of Hypnotize in 2006. They recently began touring again though, and reports of a new album have started coming out.
Milli Vanilli
One of the most infamous debacles in music history, the duo were revealed as frauds shortly after their Grammy win, resulting in ruined careers and one of them committing suicide.
