Remember Reese From Malcolm In The Middle? This Is What He's Up To Now

We've established that the 90s offered us the some of the best movies, music and TV shows, but the early 2000s weren't too shabby either in the entertainment department.

One of the biggest shows to have graced our TV screens between 2000 and 2006 was Malcolm in the Middle.

Business Insider

The family comedy centered the lives of the Wilkerson family composed of the immature patriach Hal, strict matriach Lois, and their children, Francis, Malcolm, Reese, and Dewey.

The show was a hit and managed to scoop up a Peabody Award, a Grammy, and Seven Emmy's. It also featured some of our favorite actors like Bryan Cranston, Jane Kaczmarek, and Frankie Muniz.

While we hear about these stars more often than the rest of the Wilkerson clan, it doesn't mean that the other actors aren't busy too.

Recently, Justin Berfield, who portrayed Reese, the dim-witted big brother with the frosted tips who made Malcolm's life a living hell, has resurfaced.

Not only does he look different, he is pursuing a completely different and successful career.

Unlike Reese, who ended up working as a janitor and living in a bachelor pad, Berfield decided to continue working in film and television but not as an actor.

Since Malcolm in the Middle wrapped up in 2006, Berfield only appeared in one guest role on Sons Of Tuscon in 2012.

The former actor went MIA because he started working for a producer for Richard Branson's Virgin Group.

He has since grown to become the Chief Creative Officer of Virgin Produced, which handles the packaging and production of film and television programming.

“As Co-founder and Chief Creative Officer at Virgin, Berfield oversees a full service development team responsible for the packaging and production of commercial quality film, television and digital short form content that is reflective of the Virgin brand,” reads the bio on the company's website.

His company's credits include That Awkward Moment starring Zac Efron, Bradley Cooper's Limitless, and Machine Gun Preacher.

Also if you've flown with Virgin Airlines in the last few years, you've probably seen some of the work Berfield has spearheaded.

“Overseen by Berfield, Virgin Produced launched the Virgin Produced Channel which is seen on board Virgin America, Virgin Australia and in Virgin Hotels,” continued the bio.

When he is not busy being creating airplane safety videos, Berfield can be spotted around Los Angeles where he currently lives. He is also known for his philanthropic efforts, his love for dogs and travel.

It's nice to see that Berfield has found success doing what he loves.

Although we knew that the movie adaption of Meg Cabot's "The Princess Diaries" book series was a work of fiction, we still couldn't help but wish that we had a long-lost grandmother who would one day show up to rescue us from our boring life, and inform us that we were the princess of a European country called Genovia. 12 Times Miss Grotke Proved She Was The Wokest Teacher Of The 90s

You could make a pretty solid case for Recess being the best cartoon of the 90s. It was funny, intelligent, and with characters like Miss Grotke, it was woke. But looking back, she's one of the most aware and feminist characters we were exposed to...and that's a wonderful thing. These are some of Miss Grotke's best moments. 1.
