'Blossom' Star Reveals There Have Been 'Serious Talks' About Potential Revival

You could pretend like you didn't idolize the characters from Blossom when you were young, but you would be lying to yourself. Whether it was Joey's grunge-inspired style, or Blossom's epic hat collection, the whole Russo family was the absolute coolest.

The show was one of the best on TV. They were able to make a show that was fun for the whole family, but still managed to be "cool." Kids loved it, parents enjoyed it, and overall it was one of the best things to come out of the 90s. To be fair, anything that would introduce us to Joey Lawrence and that 90s heartthrob's hair was pretty much perfect.

But recently, discussions have changed from nostalgic reminiscing, to full on speculation. The stars of the show have been talking a lot about a reunion, and while it was just hopeful at first, there seems to be some new developments that are making it a lot more likely...

Joey Lawrence recently appeared on Steve Harvey's talk show and discussed the rumors, confirming that it was absolutely a potential. "There has been serious talk about it, believe it or not," Lawrence said. "Miyam [Bialik aka Blossom] and I have both said we'd be into it."

But it's not just the two former stars of the cast, they have reached out to the show creator as well. "We've talked to Don Reo about it, who created it, if there's a way then I think we're all down for it."

He has a few thoughts about what he thinks Joey would be up to now. "The show ended where he went off to play baseball. He was a really good baseball player. So, I think that he went, had a great career, probably got married several times. He was always going on dates," he said. "Then I think that he came home now for the first time in a long time. Maybe his career's over, [he is] mid to late-30s, and he's gotta find something else to do with his life. 'Cause, you know, he doesn't have much to fall back on because [his] brain isn't firing on all cylinders."

The show was on NBC originally, so they would probably have the first chance to bring it back. They have had success with their Will & Grace reunion show, so maybe they will try again with this classic!

Would you watch a reboot of Blossom?
