It's Official, It's Time For 'Animaniacs' To Come Back And It's Zany To The Max

Huge news everyone! The 90s favorite Animaniacs is officially coming back to TV with a brand new show and we can hardly believe it's true! Animaniacs was one of the best shows of the 90s, and when it went off the air we all felt the loss. But now, the three lovable creatures are back, ready to be introduced to a new generation of kids (and for us big kids to watch too).

The show will be airing on the streaming service Hulu, which had recently gained the rights to all 99 episodes of the original run. The show premiered in 1993 and ran through 1998, but we all continued to love it long after it was gone. Well, this team up has turned into a new series, with two seasons currently in the works.

It's not just Yakko, Wakko and Dot who will be back, their friends are coming with them. Here's what Hulu has said so far...

Hulu released a statement and it has us all completely ready for this to premiere. Here's what they said:

The Warner brothers, Yakko and Wakko, and the Warner sister, Dot — three inseparable, irascible siblings — have a great time wreaking havoc and mayhem in the lives of everyone they meet. They have been locked away in the Warner Bros. water tower for a very long time, but they have found a way to escape. And escape they do — every day! Causing chaos and comic confusion, Yakko, Wakko and Dot run loose in the city, turning the world into their personal playground. And fan-favorite characters Pinky and the Brain will also return to make appearances in each episode.

Original creator of the show, Stephen Spielberg is thrilled with the announcement. “I am so pleased and proud that Animaniacs will have a home at Hulu,” he said. “Together with Warner Bros., we look to bring new audiences and longtime fans into this wild world of Yakko, Wakko, and Dot. I am also excited that the full library of Animaniacs and Tiny Toon Adventures episodes are included in the deal.”

New episodes are expected to be released in 2020, but for now you can revisit all your favorite episodes and remind yourself just how much you love those goofy little guys.
