Rare Photos Of The 80s Hollywood Nightlife Will Give You A New Perspective On Your Favorite Celebs

The 80s were a colorful time, but sometimes it looks the best when you see it in black and white. Seeing these celebrities at all of their cool parties helps you get to see a side of them they aren't used to showing.

They aren't red-carpet ready, poised with interview bullet points conversation topics and interesting anecdotes. Instead these pictures feel real and much more honest. They are just having a fun time with their friends and are a little bit more willing to let go and allow the photographer to capture what it was really like.

Stephen Jerrome was there for a lot of huge events, and his collection of photographs called "Hollywood: Uptown & Underground" shows off just how different these stars were behind-the-scenes.

Anjelica Huston and Jack Nicholson

These two were at an art opening in Beverly Hills.

Drew Barrymore and Balthazar Getty

"Balthazar Getty and Drew Barrymore at a private party to celebrate the publishing of photographer Greg Gorman's first book," Jerrome said of the candid shot.
