He isn't acting when he plays the drums in Full House! He actually can play the instrument so well that he once went on tour with The Beach Boys!

He's a HUGE Disney fan

The actor collects memorabilia regularly, including a $30,000 entrance sign. He says the first time he went to Disneyland he tried to ask Tinkerbell for her number but she refused.

His real last name is Stamotopoulos

But his grandparents changed it to Stamos when they emigrated to America.

He was the first to announce he was leaving 'Full House'

The eighth season was supposed to move networks from ABC to the WB but Stamos wasn't fond of that and decided to leave instead. Candace Cameron (DJ Tanner) was also planning on leaving the show so she could go to college. Instead of continuing without two main cast members they decided to end the show at season eight.

His first acting gig was actually 'General Hospital'

A good way to start! The actor was supposed to go to college but his parents let him take a break to go give acting a shot. He landed the General Hospital gig after only three weeks. He was supposed to have a five episode arc but they liked him so much he became a main character.

He has struggled with addiction

He was able to kick his alcohol habit but in 2015 he entered rehab for substance abuse. He was taking Ambien and other prescription medications which proved harder to get off of. He told Howard Stern that  “My memory was starting to get really f—ed up too, from that. Difficult to memorize scripts, I couldn’t remember names and places and things. And that was the hardest thing to kick, by the way. Booze, and whatever, that happened, but the Ambien was tough.”

He is the narrator for the Elvis Presley tour at Graceland
