10 Reboots To Prepare For Whether You Want Them Or Not

It seems like 2017 is the year of the reboots. Basically every second day another reboot is announced, so it's time to round them all up and see which ones we are actually excited for and which ones seem like they shouldn't be happening.

The Lost Boys

Warner Bros.

The classic vampire movie is supposed to be heading to The CW for a TV reboot.

Excitement Level: 5/10 - This could go either way. While Riverdale turned out okay a lot of The CW's other shows have been less enjoyable.

Fame

MGM

They have tried this already and it didn't work great but that apparently isn't enough to deter them.

Excitement Level: 2/10 - The dancing might be good, but I don't know that they can nail it like the original.

Star Trek: Discovery

CBS

It's been a while since a new Star Trek show came out, so hopefully this one will be good! The preview for it looked pretty good so here's hoping!

Excitement Level: 7/10 - The latest movies have been pretty decent so hopefully they continue on with that and bring us more regular content!

That's So Raven

Buena Vista Television

The show will be back on the Disney Channel in a Fuller House style reboot with Raven having kids of her own.

Excitment Level: 3/10 - It might be nice for the next generation to get a peek at what we grew up with, but there's no way it'll be as good as the original.

A Bunch of Norman Lear Shows

CBS

Sony is apparently in talks with Norman Lear to bring back a bunch of his series for six-episode anthologies. This includes The Jeffersons, All in the Family and Good Times.

Excitement Level: 6/10 - That's a bunch of different shows, but how would they translate into modern days?

What else do they have in store?

Living Single

Warner Bros.

Queen Latifa confirmed that it's in the early stages so who knows when it'll come back but if the star could make it happen that might be fun.

Excitement Level: 5/10 - Queen Latifa is pretty awesome and very talented so chances are it would be alright.

Heathers

New World Pictures

It's got the one and only Shannen Doherty so there is some hope that it's going to be good right?

Excitment Level: 7/10 - Shannen is pretty awesome and the fact that it has already been picked up for 10 episodes is a good sign.

Will & Grace

NBC

This one is one of the most exciting! After the video they made about voting went viral it was easy to imagine what a reboot would be like, and honestly it seems great.

Excitment Level: 9.5/10 - The original was so iconic, but what will it be like in 2017?

The Mickey Mouse Club

Disney

Disney reported a new project called "Club Mickey Mouse" so if it's anything like The Mickey Mouse Club we will be introduced to a new generation of Britneys and Justins who will take over the music world!

Excitement Level: 4/10 - It's not confirmed exactly what it will be, and also it won't have the little Ryan Gosling that made the one we watched as kids such a classic

Dynasty

ABC

Dynasty was an incredibly long running soap opera that went off the air in 1989. The show had to kind of scramble together an ending, but now it's getting a second chance.

Excitement Level: 6/10: Soap operas are everywhere these days and it's hard to tell in advance if they are going to be good or just ridiculous. We will have to wait and find out!

Which of these are you most excited for? Let us know in the comments!
