15 Songs We Listened To While Dramatically Staring Out Of Windows

What's a road trip without a good playlist?

Most people say the most enjoyable thing about car rides is listening to awesome music. Sometimes we listened to dance tracks and sang along with our friends or siblings, but other times, especially if it was raining, we'd play emotional music and dramatically look out the window daydreaming.

Here are 15 songs we listened to as we emotionally looked out the window. Most of these tracks are from the late '90s or early 2000s.

1. "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey

Did you also imagine your whole life playing out perfectly with this song?

2. "Breakaway" by Kelly Clarkson

"I just stare out my window." It's even in the lyrics.  

3. "Lucky" by Britney Spears

It's nice to look at the window and feel like Britney.

4. "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion

You'd look out your window mournfully and think about Jack's untimely death, I know. It's sad.

5. "Wonderwall" by Oasis

This song is just perfect 'looking out your window dramatically' material.

6. "When A Man Loves A Woman" by Michael Bolton

Even if you don't love somebody, this song makes you feel ways.

7. "My Immortal" by Evanescence

Every Evanescence song should be on this list, but this one is probably the most popular.

This was everyone's go-to song when it was raining. Just crank up that slow melody and singalong to those depressing lyrics.

The chorus is very 'look out your window' worthy.

This song will make you feel lost, even if you don't feel it.
