'Scream' Fans Can Go To A Party At 'Stu's House' And Even Get A Call From Ghostface

Kickstarter/Dimension Films

We all want to take some time an live in the worlds that our favorite movies create for us. Imagine how fun it would be to step inside the delightful worlds that people work so hard to make? Most of them would be super fun to explore, but there's one type of movie that most people would probably want to avoid.

Horror movies are generally the kind of genre that you enjoy watching, but wouldn't want to experience first hand. Trying to fight off a murder is really not most people's idea of a fun time, or at least that's what I thought.

Despite the fact that these locations seem to be kind of creepy for me, other people have happily jumped at the opportunity to hang out in the location on one of the most popular horror movie franchises of all time.

Dimension Films

Scream came out in 1996 and it spawned a series of sequels that continued the story of the masked murder. In the movie, there's a huge party that takes place in a house right before the climax of the movie, and now someone has decided to recreate that.

The house is located just outside of Santa Rosa, California, in a town called Tomales. The house was listed as "Stu's House" in the script, and now you can party at Stu's house. Let's just hope this party doesn't end the same way as the other one did...

The event was organized by Nate Ragon and Anthony Masi, who met while Masi was producing a documentary about the iconic horror movie franchise called Still Screaming.

They found out that the house is usually rented out for weddings, but this is the last year that it will be available because the owners are planning on moving in full-time. But as a final celebration, Ragon and Masic have decided to rent it out, and not only that, but they have scheduled a tour around town to all the filming locations for the movie!

It takes place on the weekend before Halloween, and will be a two day event. Many people have already bought their tickets, and a few lucky movie fans will be able to stay on location.

They have used Kickstarter to sell their tickets, and they've already managed to sell a bunch. If you can't make it out they've still got options for you, don't worry. They do say that they will be selling tickets on their website after the Kickstarter ends though, so if you missed your chance you can check there for more availability.

You can even get Ghostface himself to call you and harass you. That's right, Roger Jackson, the original voice of Ghostface will call you and say threatening things to you just like he does in the movie. It'll be about a minute long, and if you are actually able to pick up when he calls, you'll be able to have a conversation with him.

So, does this sound like something you'd want to do? Do you want to visit the house where it all went down?
