Disney Announced Who's Playing Jafar And The Internet Has A Lot Of Feelings

Disney

Jafar is one of the scariest villains to ever exist in a Disney movie. He is crazy powerful, super manipulative and honestly just the creepiest guy around.

Disney

If you don't believe me that he is actually pure evil, think about all the things he did in that movie!

He couldn't care less about the man he watched die in front of him in the Cave of Wonders

Disney

He brainwashes the sultan to try and convince him to let him marry Jasmine (even though she didn't want to)

Disney

He sentences Aladdin to death

Disney

You might be thinking "Well he helped him escape!" but he only did that to ensure he could get into the cave

Disney

He's also mean to his sidekick

Disney

He steals the lamp and forces Genie to do things he doesn't want to do including shipping Aladdin off to somewhere very cold without the appropriate attire

Disney

He chains up Jasmine

Disney

He essentially kills the Magic Carpet

Disney

He turns Raja into a kitten (albeit a really cute one)

Disney

He turns Abu into a toy

Disney

And I mean, the entire time he's trying to kill all of them so he can be in control

Disney

The new Aladdin movie that Disney is making will be live action. They have been releasing their cast list over the last few weeks and while we were all excited about Aladdin, Jasmine and Genie, the new Jafar is giving everyone a lot of conflicting feelings.

When you see what he looks like, it's easy to see why everyone is concerned about the new Jafar

The new announcement from Disney has all their fans reeling. We are supposed to hate Jafar. He is a bad man and we are supposed to find him repulsive. It's a little bit harder to find him repulsive when he looks like this:

The new Jafar in the live-action movie will be played by Marwan Kenzari and he looks absolutely nothing like the cartoon character - in a very good way.

Disney

The Dutch-Tunisian actor is getting a lot of attention now that he has been announced as the Royal Vizier, and honestly it's absolutely hilarious.

What do you think of the new Jafar? Think he will make a good villain? Let us know in the comments!
