13 Celebrities Whose Hygiene Habits Are Honestly Revolting
When we think of celebrities, we think of people who live lavish lifestyles and who are always put together. Rarely do we think of them as people who don't shower, don't brush their teeth, and don't flush the toilet.
And yet, here we are, ready to do a deep dive into the gross celebrity habits that exist but really shouldn't.
1. Brad Pitt Washes With Baby Wipes
Pitt may LOOK like he smells good, but that's only true some of the time. According to the father of six, he just uses baby wipes when he doesn't have time to shower.
"I got six kids. All you've got to do is just take them, a couple quick wipes under the pits," he told PEOPLE. "Man, I'm getting [peed] on all day. I don't have time to take a shower."
I guess it makes sense, but you'd think with all the nannies and help this family has, a 5-minute shower isn't totally out of the question.
2. Zac Efron "Hates Showering"
Sorry, ladies. But I'm about to ruin Zac Efron for you. According to one of his High School Musical co-stars, Efron stays away from the showers, despite his workout routine.
"Zac isn't a big fan of showering," the source said. "It's so gross, because Zac loves to work out and plays basketball all the time — and then goes days without showering. When he gets lazy, he likes to clean himself with baby wipes!"
Okay, am I missing something? Is this baby wipe routine common to celebrities?
3. It's Britney, Pick
Pop superstar Britney Spears needs to be hit one more time...perhaps with some Gas-X. According to her former bodyguard, Brit Brit smokes like a chimney "which makes her smell continually of stale tobacco." The bodyguard also said she "broke wind or picked her nose unselfconsciously and unapologetically."
Yikes.
4. Cameron Diaz Doesn't Use Deodorant
The blond bombshell says she hasn't worn deodorant or antiperspirant for more than 20 years.
"I don't believe in antiperspirant," she said. "It's really bad for you. I haven't used it for almost 20 years. You're stinky, because you use antiperspirant. It keeps all the stink in."
I don't think that's how it works, but who am I to argue with Cameron Diaz?
5. Jennifer Aniston Is Sweaty And She Knows It
Ever wonder how Jen keeps her hair looking so nice? The answer is sweat. The former Friends star confessed that she only washes her hair every few days, regardless of whether or not she's worked up a sweat.
"No, I don’t [wash it]. I actually don’t," she said. "A little sweat in the hair is nice. It’s like a little product. You just blow it out with your fingers and it’s actually just fun."
I've never heard sweaty hair described as "fun" but I'm also not a millionaire.
6. Julia Roberts Is Probably Smelly
Julia Roberts is trying to fool us all by saying she does it to save the environment, but the actress doesn't shower regularly OR use deodorant.
"It's never been my thing," Roberts said in reference to deodorant. She's also mentioned how the chemicals in deodorant aren't good for your body or the environment.
As for the showering thing, Roberts says she does it to save water. I wonder if she's on board the baby wipes train as well?
7. Jessica Simpson Has Fuzzy Teeth
You know when you don't brush your teeth and it feels like they're wearing little sweaters because they're fuzzy? I bet Jessica Simpson's mouth is like a wool factory.
The actress appeared on Ellen and revealed that she doesn't brush her teeth regularly, saying it happens "maybe three times a week."
"Because my teeth are so white and I don't like them to feel too slippery but I do use Listerine and I do floss everyday," she said. "My lips just slide all over the place…I can't catch up with my mouth. I need a little coating."
So what does she do instead of brush? She scrubs her teeth with "a shirt or something." Hopefully a clean one...
8. Megan Fox Fails at Flushing
Fox has always been known as a "hot girl" in Hollywood, but there's something she's not so hot at...and that's not flushing the toilet.
“I’m horrible to live with," Fox confessed. "I don’t clean. My clothes end up wherever I take them off. I forget to flush the toilet. Friends will tell me, “Megan, you totally pinched a loaf in my toilet and didn’t flush.”
9. Snooki Cleanses With Kitty Litter
Okay this might be the most ridiculous one I've heard. Snooki's favorite exfoliating technique is using kitty litter.
"If you want a good facial and stuff like that, it actually really works," she said. "It has to be clean kitty litter. It can’t be, like, poo."
Really? It can't be poo? Shocker.
10. Adele Knows How To Pick 'Em
And by "them," I mean her nostrils.
"I’d like to stop picking my nose," she said in an interview. "It’s a really bad habit that I have. Anyone saying, ‘Eww’ — you are lying. You have to do something with the bogeys.’
Don't worry, though. It gets worse.
"The best thing is I pick my own kid’s bogeys, roll them in my hand and then flick those ones," she confessed. "When he was a baby and had his first cold — yes, we’re getting really gross now — I sucked the snot out of his nose because he was so congested. He was my baby, he was my first born!"
I just...I don't know how to respond to this.
11. Matthew McConaughey Does Not Smell Alright, Alright, Alright
Honestly, what is with celebs and thinking they don't have an odor about them? It's ridiculous. But apparently the movie star doesn't care. His co-star in many movies, Kate Hudson, reportedly brought McConaughey deodorant to set, begging him to use it. He refused.
If that's not enough, the Lincoln Car spokesperson also stunk up the cars he drove on set. His scent apparently "permeated the car's interior and lingered after shooting was done. Afterwards, the cars were sent back to the dealer. It's unknown whether they were detailed to get rid of the stink."
Just shower, man.
12. Miley Cyrus Lived In A Poop Palace
Before she got her life back together and reunited with fiancé Liam Hemsworth, Miley was living in a gross house. According to multiple sources, the house was filled with "dog poop and pee everywhere, old food, pizza boxes, takeout containers, fast-food wrappers and dirty dishes piled up."
The smell of weed didn't make anything better.
