10 Things You Didn't Know About '3 Ninjas'
If you were one of the many kids obsessed with martial arts in the 90s, chances are you loved 3 Ninjas. It was like the fighting of Ninja Turtles combined with The Karate Kid, and we all wanted to be ninjas after watching it! Here's a few things you probably didn't know about the movie!
The original cut was a lot more violent
Disney cut out violent scenes for the North American release, and also added in cartoon sound effects for the punches and kicks etc.
The more violent version is actually available outside the US
The international edition has most of the violent scenes added back in, but it's never been released in North America
Max Elliot Slade (Colt)'s trainer is in the movie
He's the ninja with a painted face on the boat!
Hammer was played by a crew member
He was the second assistant camera operator on the movie, and continues to work behind the camera on movies to this day!
