After the success of Scream in the mid-90s, a massive wave of imitators came out that all tried to capitalize on the "teenage slasher" craze in horror movies. The best-known of these was almost definitely I Know What You Did Last Summer, which featured an all-star cast of 90s mainstays, including Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe, Freddie Prinze Jr., and Anne Heche.
