But where has he been lately?

Emilio Estevez has had an interesting life. While his acting career has had its ups and downs, he was a big part of our childhoods because he played the iconic Coach Gordon Bombay in all of The Mighty Ducks.

Buena Vista Pictures

He was doing a few cameos and TV movies over the years, but none were really super successful. He also did some voice acting, but he wasn't in the public eye as much.

In 2006 he wrote and directed the movie Bobby which he co-starred in with his ex-fiance Demi Moore and her then husband Ashton Kutcher.

He has appeared in a few cameos over the years, his last acting credit was in 2012 in the TV movie Abominable Christmas.

Currently though he is in the process of directing another movie called The Public. He will also star in it but there is no release date yet. The story is based on real events of a library taking in those who had no where to go during a winter storm.

Fun fact about Emilio Estevez, he apparently will not say anything negative about his brother in public despite several jokes made at his expense by Charlie Sheen. He also still roots for the Mighty Ducks!

Hopefully his latest movie will bring him back into the spotlight and open up a bunch of new doors for the former Brat Pack actor!
