"Ugly Betty" Star Introduces First Child In A Super Sweet Announcement

America Ferrera, known for her roles in television shows and films like Ugly Betty and Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants, took fans by surprise last New Year's Eve.

The actress and her husband, Ryan Piers Williams, revealed they had their first child on the way in an adorable Instagram post.

She posted a photo in which she's posing alongside her husband wearing goofy "2018" glasses and holding up a onesie.

“We’re welcoming one more face to kiss in 2018!” read the caption.

Ferrera and Williams first met when Williams cast the Emmy-winning actress in his student film at the University of Southern California.

They dated for a few years before getting engaged in 2010.

“We kind of connected from the get-go on that professional level and that was something that really drew us to each other,” Ferrera told People. She added that they have “a shared passion for what we do and our work.”

The Emmy-winner and Williams finally tied the knot in 2011 in "an intimate setting amongst close friends and family."

Her former co-stars, Blake Lively, Alexis Bledel, Amber Tamblyn and Vanessa Williams, all showed up for their big day.

A few years later, Ferrera and some of her Ugly Betty co-stars reunited for another special occasion: her baby shower at Beauty & Essex Los Angeles.
