Sylvester Stallone And Dolly Parton Probably Pretend This Movie Never Happened

There are a lot of great movies out there. You've got your controversial movies, your amazing classics that have stood the test of time, and of course the ones that are so bad they might just be great. Those ones are really the best of all right? Well, if you agree do we ever have a treat for you.

In 1984, two stars were given the roles that would give them the opportunity of a lifetime. Sure, most people would like to be remembered for being in one of the best movies of all time, but someone has to be in one of the worst. Sylvester Stallone is known for his tough-guy characters like Rocky Balboa and Rambo, but what he doesn't want you to remember is that he once played a cabbie-turned-country star in a movie with Dolly Parton.

That's right. Dolly Parton starred alongside Sylvester Stallone in a movie called Rhinestone and it had one of the most bizarre plots imaginable. I mean, it's so bizarre that it could be deemed offensive and disgusting, but somehow they made this movie anyways.

Have you ever seen it? It's probably one of the strangest movies you will ever experience.

Dolly Parton plays a country singer who is locked into a contract performing at a crappy bar that she doesn't want to work at anymore.

When she tries to get out of the contract, the sleazy bar owner only will let her leave if she can train a new country star in a couple of weeks. If she fails, she has to stay for another five years AND sleep with her boss. Because that isn't just horribly illegal...

The bar owner finds a contestant who will play in this terrible, gross, horrific game who just happens to be cab driver played by Sylvester Stallone.

So Dolly brings Sylvester home to Tennessee because that is where you learn how to make country music.

Seriously, I am not making this up. Click to the next page to see how the whole thing goes down.

Obviously, Sylvester and Dolly realize that their anger and frustrations with each other are all rooted in their attractions, so they essentially fall in love within two weeks.

Dolly teaches Sylvester all about country music before he has to perform at the Rhinestone. It doesn't start great.

When he gets to the Rhinestone bar, he gets booed and yelled at. But never fear, he kicks it up a notch and the crowd is won over by his ridiculously goofy song, excessive fringe and it helps that he brings Dolly up on stage.

Dolly gets out of her contract and will no longer be forced to work in a place where she is being harassed daily.

So I guess good for her, but also that guy needs to be arrested.

You have to watch Sylvester Stallone's big moment on stage as a super-cool country singer, it will honestly change how you feel about him as an actor and a human.

Even Sylvester Stallone wishes you haven't heard of this movie. Do you think you would want to sit through it?
