25 Years After Leaving Bayside High, Here's What The Cast of "Saved By The Bell" Are Up To Now

Decider

AOL TV named Saved By The Bell one of the "20 Best School Shows of all Time," and I'm sure everyone who's reading this article can agree with that sentiment.

The American TV sitcom aired from 1989 to 1993, but has recently been classified as "educational and informational." That's cool and all, but it was also super-duper funny.

It was one of the shows we looked forward to the most in the early '90s, and it helped launch the careers of some of these teen actors.

Here's what the main cast of the show have been up to!

Tiffani Thiessen - Kelly Kapowski

I'm sure most guys watched this show just to ogle at Tiffani's character on screen. The cheerleader was everything a teenage boy wanted in his life, and her popularity led her to continue working as an actress.

The 43-year-old mother of two has launched her own cookery show last year called Dinner At Tiffani's, and her guests included old co-stars like Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley.

Mario Lopez - A.C. Slater

Bayside's wrestling jock has had the most successful career after he left the show.

Lopez is now the host of Extra, MTV reality shows America's Best Dance Crew and MTV's Top Pop Group. He previously hosted The X Factor, Pet Star, Miss America pageant shows, and also co-hosted The Wendy Williams Show.

Jessie Spano - Elizabeth Berkley

Bayside's class president Jessie Spano had both brains and beauty. Berkley had more success playing in Saved By The Bell than in any other projects she's done to date.

The 45-year-old actress has made appearances on shows like New Girl, Dancing with the Stars, CSI: Miami, and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Although her acting career didn't kick off like she'd hoped it would, she had time to publish a guide for teen girls in 2011 called, Ask Elizabeth: Real Answers to Everything You Secretly Wanted to Ask About Love, Friends, Your Body... and Life in General.

But what's Screech, Zach, and Lisa been up to ever since they left Bayside?

Lisa Turtle - Lark Voorhies

Screech was obsessed with rich and fashionable Lisa Turtle, who went to follow her dreams in the fashion industry after she graduated. Lark, on the other hand, didn't have the same lucky fate as her character.

She's been largely out of sight, appearing in small roles like the 2012 dramatic film Closer to God: Jessica's Journey. The 43-year-old made headlines a few years ago when her mom told People she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

Mark-Paul Gosselaar - Zach Morris

If Kelly was the reason boys watched this show, Zach was the reason girls watched Save By The Bell. The blonde heartthrob ended up getting married to Kelly in Las Vegas, but what happened to him in real life?

He's had fairly decent roles ever since his Bayside years. He starred in the series Franklin & Bash, CSI, and Pitch.

Dustin Diamond - Samuel "Screech" Powers

Screech and Zach were an unlikely pair, but that's what made us all fall in love with this show. The show may have ended in the early '90s, but Dustin appeared in Saved By The Bell's Good Morning, Miss Bliss, the College Years, and New Class spin-offs.

Most recently he appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2013.

Dustin also infamously appeared in a sex tape called Screeched: Saved By The Smell. Since then, things haven't been going so well for him. He was sentenced to four months in jail for stabbing someone at a bar in 2015.

Which Bayside character was your favorite?
