Growing up in the 90s, especially in Canada, there was one show that was the most important part of your day. Popular Mechanics For Kids was the absolute best way to learn about all the coolest things you could imagine.

The show started off with Jay Baruchel and Elisha Cuthbert as the main hosts. They would go on some kind of adventure to a theme park or museum, and then Charlie would come around with his experiment or tip that would make it feel a bit like Mythbusters.

<amp-img src="https://legacy.throwbacks.com/content/images/2017/04/popular-mechanics-for-kids-jay-and-elisha-forever-2-2222-1439929362-5_dblbig.jpg" title="" alt="" height="9" width="16" layout="responsive"></amp-img>

The show was educational and would teach kids a lot of little things in between their little clips. It was basically required viewing for all kids.

Jay Baruchel left the show after the first season and was replaced by Tyler Kyte and then after another season Vanessa Lengies was added. The cast stayed the same for the rest of the show's run. It lasted for 4 years, and reruns made it feel like it was on forever.

<amp-img src="https://legacy.throwbacks.com/content/images/2017/04/130307b-pmk-1.jpg" title="" alt="" height="9" width="16" layout="responsive"></amp-img>

They all got to go on a lot of really cool adventures that as a kid would keep you captivated.
