10 Things We've Learned About The 'Roseanne' Reboot From Newly Released Photos

We've all been a little bit anxious about the reboot of Roseanne, and for a fair reason. Reboots have gone badly in the past, and because we love this show so much we really need it to be great.

But now, after patiently waiting for many months, we finally have our first glimpse at what the show will look like. We have visual proof of what's changed, what's the same, and what can be expected from the new show.

ABC

The photos from the first episode show that the house is basically unchanged since the series ended the first time in 1997. You get to see basically the entire family back in their roles, including Dan (John Goodman) who technically died in the last episode. We will have to wait and see what happened with that when the episode airs, but it's nice to see him back!

The pictures tell the story pretty well, so let's take a look at what the new series has in store for us.

1. Dan and Roseanne are still in love

ABC

The couple are still in their same bed, although you can see the sleep apnea mask in Dan's hand, so obviously there have been a few snoring incidents.

2. Aunt Jackie looks really upset while wearing a 'Nasty Woman' t-shirt

ABC

The 'Nasty Woman' shirts are a Hilary Clinton reference, so it looks like this sitcom is about to get political.

3. Both Beckys are there

ABC

When Alicia Goranson left the show, Sarah Chalke stepped in to replace her. They wanted to have both Beckys in the series, so to make it happen they recast Chalke as  "a middle-class married woman named Andrea who hires Becky (Goranson) to serve as her surrogate."

4. Happy grandparents

ABC

There are a bunch of new Connors joining the family this time around.

5. Are Darlene and Jackie still best friends?

ABC

I sure hope so, because I don't know if I could handle it otherwise.

6. That wallpaper held up pretty well over the years

ABC

Family dinners are obviously still super important!

7. The couch and blanket are still going strong

ABC

You might think that some families would get a new couch after 20 years, but not the Connors.

8. Dan still has his man cave in the garage

ABC

And he's not alone out there, his daughter Darlene is hanging out with him.

ABC

9. All the important talks happen in the kitchen

ABC

The family is back together to give Darlene's daughter a grandparent talk.

10. But obviously the most important thing is that it's good to be back

ABC

Will you be tuning into the premiere?
