Sure, She Saved The 'Little Giants' From Defeat, But Where Has Becky Gone?

Warner Bros

Little Giants was absolutely the best sports movie from our childhood. Watching those kids play football honestly made us wish we could do the same. But we would never be as good as Becky 'Icebox' O'Shea.

Becky was the best, and we all wanted to be as cool as she was. We felt her pain when she was cut from the team, and we were thrilled when she threw those pom poms to the ground. Becky doesn't belong on the sidelines! She's the star of the team!

Becky goes through a lot in the movie, as does her dad. His bet with his brother was proving to be a bit much, but luckily it all worked out in the end. But what has Becky been up too since helping establish the Giants as an official team?

Shawna Waldron played Becky O'Shea in Little Giants when she was only 12-years-old. It was her first time official film, but obviously she nailed it.

Warner Bros.

Technically, it's not the first movie she filmed. She actually was in a movie called The New Kid, which was filmed before Little Giants but never got released.

What has she been up to since proving that girls can play football just as well as the boys?

She actually continued acting! She was in a Rob Reiner movie called The American President in 1995, before moving over to TV.

Universal Pictures

She was in the show Family Rules and Ladies Man in 1999, and then in 2001 she returned to film with The Yellow Sign.

CBS

Waldron took as step behind the camera to write and produce the film To Kill a Mockumentary, which she also starred in.

She has done a few other movies, most recently she was in a movie called Dead Man Rising.

Rising Pictures

She has actually won some awards at film festivals for her work in Police Guys and NightLights.

Lifetime

It's nice to know that Waldron is still successful, but we will always remember her as Becky 'Icebox' O'Shea!
